Fast and loose best describe the Big Twin Pin. In the early seventies there was a two year period between the shortboard revolution and the invention of the thruster; and this was the era of the twin fin. Twin fins are one of the fattest fin set up as there is no water resistance through the middle area of the board. You often see twin fins paired with swallow tails but we decided to add the stiffness of a pin to counteract the looseness of the fin set up. The result is a fun responsive board that flies down the line. 

A more experienced rider will push into bigger waves and more critical turns.The challenge is to adapt to the different characteristics and parts of the wave a twin fin will project you into.
