An ode to Skip Frye and the 5' inch keel. Introducing the Big Sun Skip Hull concept.

Here we are channeling Skip, Simmons and Liddle for inspiration. Bottom contours include a rolled hull entry and a double concave exit. The large surface area makes for plenty of speed and the Hull is surprisingly responsive.  The hull entry helps get you through the slower fatter parts of the wave, and then lean back and feel it take off. Suits a surfing approach orientated towards trim, shoulders back and feet together. 

Slightly more responsive than our Simmons Displacement Hull. Both really exciting designs and we are looking at pushing the boundaries of what they can do.

• Single to large double concave
• Refined rails with volume hidden in the belly
• 50/50 rails through the middle blended to a hard edge out the tail
• 18' tail measurement 1ft back
• 4' inch rocker
• Match with our 5' inch keel fin template
• You choose the tint or pigment
• Recommended size range between 7ft - 8ft
